1920's Original Vintage Black Hat with Feather Plume

Description

This hat has a crown of fabric and a large turned up imitation horsehair (pedaline) brim constructed in rows almost to the top of the crown. The sides slightly flare out by way of a large pleat.  One side is decorated with a rather full feather adornment and a gold colored pin. The brim is reinforced with covered wire. 22" around. There are shatter marks on the lining. There are some breaks and separations in the "horsehair". Minor soiling on inside front lining. There is metallic gold threading details on the crown which has lost its shine. See photo and ask questions.
