    Description

    An exquisite antique original Victorian 1860’s Civil War era bonnet. The bonnet is made of net lace that is laid over a wire base. The hat is lavishly trimmed with blue silk moire ribbon and bows.
    The bonnet has a six inch back curtain. The front brim and back curtain are trimmed with white lace. The front under brim is trimmed with white and blue flowers and dark green leaves.
    The hat is in very good condition. There is some age spotting on the ribbon.
    Bonnets from this timer period are very difficult to find and this one is a real treasure. Buyer pays shipping.
