    Description

This is a Boxed Marx Zorro Play Set number 3754, series 1000. I bought this used many years ago and am unaware how incomplete the contents are. Based upon the included instruction sheet I can safely state that at least a fern and a tree are missing, which seems a bit strange since even the screw listed in the instruction sheet is here. The box leaves much to be desired. Evidently the child that received this play set also received a bow and arrow as there are numerous arrow size holes in the box which you can see if you look carefully at the picture. Furthermore the front flap has been half removed also as pictured. There are also some tape issues and small areas where illustration(s) have been compromised or stained from these tape issues. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than I can tell by the following detailed listing if anything else is missing: (Some of the pictures include the 2 different sides of the metal items which are generally in nice shape.)
    31 Soldiers in 10 (?) poses
    1 instruction sheet
    1 Metal Comandante Building
1 Plastic Roof for the Comandante Building
1 Plastic Porch for the Comandante Building
    6 Metal Fence Pieces
Character Figures of: Zorro, Bernardo, Comandante, Sergeant Garcia, Don Diego, Don Alejandro.
Zorro Compound gate (Please note scratches above the hinged areas of the inside of the gate).
Well Base, Log Pile, Forge (?), Grinding Wheel. Canon, Anvil, Ladder, Hitching Rail, Well Roof (the "pins" that secure the base to the roof are embedded in the roof), Barrel, Axe in wood, Flag pole (the pole has been glued to the stone flag pole base), Well Bucket, "Z" Flag (Some scratches).
4 Horses. Seller Pays for Shipping.
I received this inquiry subsequent to this listing:
Are the mexican soldiers a flat blue color? Does the porch have all its connector stubs? Thanks
The Building has 5 places to insert the porch "stubs" and the porch has 5 "stubs". I am not sure what constitutes a "flat blue color". The figures don't look shiny, but I am sure you know more about this than I do. I scanned one figure and am adding it to the listing along with your message. Even though scanning has its limitations I am hoping you can tell something from the scan.
