, a seemingly rare Briggs & Stratton light-up / back lit display sign. Although it is relatively modern, I have been unable to find another one of these. Briggs & Stratton sign, by Palmer Promotional Products, was co-branded along with a local hardware store, whose name is also featured. Plastic case, with clear "plexiglass" front, possibly for writing in neon marker / crayon, but unsure. Sign takes a moment to light up when turned on. Measures approximately 21" x 28.5" x 2.25" and the power cord, with a two-prong plug measures over 8 ft. Without packaging, the sign weighs approximately 8 lbs.
Please note, the sign is functional, as seen by how it lights when plugged in and turned on. Due to the natural shaking and jarring that occurs during shipping however, I can't guarantee the light will work upon arrival. It's likely the original light for this display unit. While I don't really anticipate issues, returns won't be provided for a non-functioning light bulb. Should it need a bulb replacement, I will refund to put toward a replacement bulb. There are four shipping options, including local pick-up/delivery within a 50 mile radius of Madison, WI. Otherwise, UPS, FedEx, and USPS are available options. Please choose whichever is most convenient and economical for you. Please note, cost of shipping is set by the carrier and is based upon the size, weight, and travel distance of the package. I do not charge handling, and I make no profit on shipping.
For conditions, review photos closely using the magnifying tool or zoom in. Briggs & Stratton light-up / back lit sign in used condition, with age, use, and storage related wear. Although used and dusty, the sign lights up when turned on. It takes a moment or two, but it will eventually turn on. I have not opened the unit to see what kind of bulb it uses. The main thing is that the sign is functional. Given the unknown age / status of the light bulb, the bulb is not guaranteed to function upon arrival, due to the natural shaking/jarring that occurs while in transit, though it is unlikely it will be an issue. Otherwise, some scratches throughout, and some slight wear to the Briggs & Stratton logo. If you have questions or would like more photos, please ask!
