. He was considered one of the finest high school athletes of ALL TIME, as he was an All-American in basketball, baseball, and football. This manifested itself in his being one of the very few 2-pro sport players. He appeared in the Major Leagues with the Toronto Blue Jays, and then went on to a long NBA career with the Celtics, Kings, Trail Blazers, and Suns. Danny appears in 10 GREAT photos in the book, including at least one in each of the 3 sports (see 8 attached scans.)
This book is in near mint condition, with only a few neat signings and the slightest of wear on the corners and cover. You will not find a better copy. This is a wonderful showcase of a great athlete at the beginning of his career.
