    Description

    This is a vintage wood crate from Proctor & Gamble for Ivory Soap Flakes. It is an early crate from the 20s or so.  Made of wood with dove tailed corners. The logo is on all four sides. Two sides read, "Ivory Soap Flakes" & the short ends have round Proctor & Gamble logos with the moon face.  It m
    easures about 21" by 12-1/2" and is 9" high.  In good vintage condition. It is solid with no loose or wobbly parts. It is missing a strip of the top edge on one short side. The dove tails show chipping and wear. Bottom inside board shows a crack. A previous owner used a black grease pencil or something similar to try to scribble out the logos. Each side shows the black scribbling to some degree, please see photos. Please see photos. One long side has a cracked board.
