    Fine Art Sign Foam - 6 XPS Foam sheets 2" x 12" x 24"
    Hot Wire Foam Factory #036ART
    Art Foam
    Proudly made in the USA!
    Includes:
    6 sheets of 2" x 12" x 24" Fine Art & Sign Makers Foam
    Features:
The world's highest grade fine art, sign making, and modeling foam.
Unlike polyurethane foams, it's safe to cut with hot wire tools.
Velvety smooth! No beads! No voids between cells.
    Rigid. Very high compressive strength.
Can be cut to very tight tolerances and amazingly fine details.
    Easily painted.
    Sands to an ultra-fine finish.
Resists all forms of water and moisture penetration.
Inert. Will not support mold or mildew.
Four times stiffer than balsa by weight, and at a fraction of the cost.
Better than Balsa Foam, and less expensive too. And Balsa Foam cannot be cut with a hot wire.
    Recyclable.
Can be coated and protected easily with our line of foam coatings.
Use with non-solvent based and water-based paints and glues.
Lightly sand the top and bottom surface skins for better adhesion.
Our Hot Wire tools work best on rigid polystyrene foams, also known as expanded polystyrene (also known as EPS, Styrofoam or bead-board foam) and extruded polystyrene foam (also known as XEPS or XPS or insulation foam). If you are unsure whether or not this tool will cut the foam you intend to cut, please contact us before buying. The Hot Wire tools will cut many kinds of foam, but always check with the foam manufacturer to make sure there are no health or safety hazards when using hot wire tools.
    NOTE:
Polyurethane foam (aka upholstery foam) should not be cut with hot wire tools. It needs a ton of heat, gives off toxic fumes, and leaves a lot of melted plastic wherever it is cut.
We recommend that the polyurethane foams only be cut with a blade or saw.
