  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall antique cond: For sale is this incredible & absolutely untouched, orig & completely auth, Proctor & Gamble of Cincinnati, OH, early 20th c Lenox Soap wood crate advertising box, feat blk ink stamped sidewall graphic iconography on 2 long & 1 short sidewalls, early nailed corners & a wood plank floor. The blk ink is orig & still largely saturated & opaque. The wood surfaces haven't been lacquered or varnished & have a matte, dry finish. There's only the slightest bit of wood loss along the top R corner of 1 of the long wooden sidewalls. This amnts to what would be best described as a sliver of wood & not a chunk. The wood has nat aged patina & its wood cover was pried off w/a crow bar. The damage to the long sidewall most likely occurred when the wood box crate was initially opened. One long sidewall has great graphics w/a hand holding a bar of Lenox soap. The short sidewall has the Proctor & Gamble crescent moon hallmark stamped on it. Incredibly well-preserved.

The black ink is original and still largely saturated and opaque. The wood surfaces haven't been lacquered or varnished and have a matte, dry finish.
