    Description

In late 1941, in the months before Pearl Harbor, famous New York Herald-Tribune stamp editor Ernest Kehr took a cruise aboard a Manilla Steamship Co. ship that featured four famous musicians. This lot consists of the desirable cover with a Pitney Bowes Manilla, Philippines meter cancel and a nice slogan cancel for gin addressed to Kehr. The letter contained a brochure for the entertainment on the cruise, addressed to Kehr and signed by four well-known entertainers. Interesting philatelic/music collateral item at a low bid.  See the four scans. Best offers considered.
