We bought the piano new in 2005 - imported from Italy, and have maintained it well since. It is in an an air-conditioned, virus-free environment and has very few superficial marks that are not easily noticeable. It was played only now and then and most of the time was integrated into a digital audio recording system. It performs well both independently and coupled with Ableton, Fruity Loops or other music production software.
The Viscount Concerto 500 is a rare sight in this hi-gloss mahogany version. This elegant petite grand piano marries Italian aesthetics and wood craft with contemporary, original high-quality digitally sampled sounds. It has a thick 4cm rim built in 19 undulating layers of different hardwood, a lifting lid, brass plated pedals and hardware, a roll top key cover and thick metal legs for a heavy "baby". Also features the 88 Grand-Response™ Keys (Italian technology) with realistic touch and accurate dynamic response and a large custom-designed resonant speaker enclosure with 2 reflex ports. While supporting 64 Note Polyphony it generates 10 professional quality sounds (Acoustic and Electric Bass, Grand and Concert Hall Pianos, Electric Piano, Baroque Harpsichord, Nylon Guitar, Orchestral Strings, Concert Choir, Cathedral Pipe Organ) each enhanced by Reverb and Modulation effects. Includes a bench made with solid wood mahogany frame and legs.

Transposition : Change the keyboard pitch one semitone at a time up to +/-12 semitones
Functions: 8 Dynamic Curves for keypresses , 6 Temperament Selections, 4 Bass Modes, 8 Reverb Modes, 8 Modulation effects (ex. pan-pot, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, vibrato), Keyboard Voice Split, independent Voice Volume presets, voice layering.
Recorder: Record and play back for performance review or to self accompany
MIDI: fully compatible with digital audio workstations, it sends/receives note and velocity data, program change and control change data. A MIDI channel can be separately assigned for 1st Voice, 2nd Voice and Bass. The MIDI implementation chart is included in the manual.
Analog Inputs: RCA connectors, allow the speaker reproduction of an external stereo source
Analog Outputs: RCA connectors, provide the stereo output of piano voices
