    Description

    Original vintage Muskellunge Special Fishing Regulation heavy gauge metal sign for Lake Vermilion Minnesota.
    Rare retired MN DNR Sign. The new regulation  at Lake Vermilion is to keep over 54".
    18" high x 12" wide.  Weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs.
    Excellent straight and flat condition with a couple of tiny barely seen nicks on bright and vivid yellow and black
    coloring - not faded.  Has two 3/8" mounting holes.  Has not been touched up.
    The name "muskellunge" originates from the Ojibwe words meaning great fish, big pike, or ugly pike.  This fish is native to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.  Lake Vermilion is the 8th largest freshwater lake in Minnesota.  Nice display next to your fish mount.
