    Description

    Windberg Wood box with 12x16 glass palette with an 3/4 metal band glued to the glass Outside measurements 13 1/4" x 17 1/8" x 2 5/8" Made of solid select pine on the sides and Birch plywood for the top and bottom and clear coated
    Mr Windberg design the glass palette in the 70's to help his painting by mixing up his colors on the glass palette  and when he was finished painting for the day he would put the glass palette in the freezer until he was ready to paint again even if it was the next day When the paint has a crust on the paint he would peal back and use the soft paint to mix paint The main reason for his design of the glass pallet was to save time and money because he didn't have to remix or throw away paint at the end of the day. You will not find any other paint boxes like this one anywhere
    We design the 12x16 glass palette because of the plastic boxes students came into the workshop and was painting on wax paper  and then Mr Windberg said we need a wood box for the glass
