The innovative YDS-150 Digital Saxophone from Yamaha lets you play anytime, anywhere! Furthermore, unlike many other electric winds, it will FEEL like you're playing an acoustic horn. The mouthpiece and reed are designed to feel like that of an acoustic saxophone, and the key layout is also based on standard Yamaha saxes. The Integrated Bell Acoustic System features a brass bell made from the same material used on standard Yamaha saxophones, and gives you a high quality digital sound, while maintaining the vibration, resistance, and feel of playing an acoustic horn.
This advanced system consists of a speaker unit and enclosure, acoustic pipe, and brass bell. The YDS-150 responds to your breath from the mouthpiece, and digitally creates sound that drives the speaker, causing the brass bell to resonate. Actually, the entire instrument resonates with the sound, and that vibration comes back to you. The result is an instrument that gives you the realistic feeling of an acoustic saxophone with the comprehensive capabilities of a digital instrument.
The YDS-150 uses sounds sampled from professional Yamaha Saxophnes, meticulously recorded in whole tones by Yamaha professional players, giving you a completely natural sound. Along with every type of sax register- soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone, the YDS-150 has 73 instrument sounds, with 56 saxophone voices and many others that will allow you to easily perform within any genre of music.  It even has an Aux input terminal to connect smartphones and other audio players, so you can play and practice along with your own music or with other musicians.
The YDS controller app is also available for download. This dedicated app enhances the performance of the YDS-150 and further expands the range of sound creation - and includes instrument settings and sound editing. You can make detailed changes intuitively and visually from the app that cannot be done on the instrument itself

*All returns must be within 45 days of the date the item was shipped. Please do not accept any shipment if the packaging appears damaged in any way. Resalable Condition means that the product(s) is exactly in the same condition as you received it. All exchanges must be pre-paid, returned in original packing, complete with blank warranty cards, owner's manual and show no sign of wear or abuse. In the event that the product is not in the same condition as you received it you may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, repair charge or disqualification.
